Finding the right remote & compatibility

How do I find the correct remote?

Use the remote finder and enter either your device model (e.g., TV/DVD/receiver) or your old remote’s model number. The finder shows compatible original, replacement, and universal options.

I only know the remote number (e.g., RM-ED011). Is that enough?

Yes. Enter the old remote number in the finder to get compatible matches.

What’s the difference between a replacement remote and a universal remote?

Replacement remotes are described as compatible alternatives to the original and ready to use without programming. Universal remotes are designed to control multiple device types and may require setup depending on the model.

What does “Plug & Play / pre-programmed” mean?

For pre-programmed offers, the remote is programmed for the device specified in the offer before shipping, so you typically only need to insert batteries.

I see multiple results—how do I pick the right one?

Choose the result where the device model designation or the original remote number matches the designation shown in the offer/description.

Which device types do you offer remotes for?

The shop offers remotes for TVs, projectors, media players, and combi devices, plus categories like hotel remotes, universal remotes, plug & play remotes, and accessories.

Do I need to program a replacement remote?

What do I need to do after delivery?

Are batteries included?

Will settings be lost when batteries are removed?

For pre-programmed offers it is described that there is no data loss if the battery is missing.

Which functions are supported?

Ordering & payment

Which payment methods are accepted?

Shipping & delivery

How much is shipping within Germany?

€3.90 for “Standard Shipping / Letter”. Shipping is free for orders over €10.

How much is international shipping?

For standard international shipping, costs are listed as €3.90.

How long does delivery take?

Unless otherwise stated in the offer: within Germany 2–3 days; international deliveries 4–7 days after conclusion of the contract (for advance payment after your payment instruction).

Is there delivery on Sundays and public holidays?

No. There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.

What if items have different delivery times?

Items are shipped in one shipment unless otherwise agreed; the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time.

Which countries do you ship to?

Delivery takes place within Germany and to the countries listed on the shipping/payment information page (e.g., Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland).

I have (still) not received my order — what should I do?

Don’t worry — in most cases this can be resolved quickly:

  • Please allow 1–2 additional business days, as delivery can occasionally be delayed.
  • Tracking available? If you received a tracking number, please check the current status via the tracking service.
  • Still nothing? Please email us at info@galaxis-tv.com with your order number and your full name and delivery address.

We will check the shipment status right away. If the shipment has been lost, we will arrange — depending on availability — a replacement shipment or issue a refund.


Withdrawal, returns & refunds

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

When does the withdrawal period start?

The withdrawal period starts from the day you (or a third party designated by you other than the carrier) take possession of the goods.

How do I exercise my right of withdrawal?

Inform us by a clear statement (e.g., letter sent by post or email). A model withdrawal form is provided on the German withdrawal page.

How and when do refunds happen?

Refunds are issued within 14 days from receiving the withdrawal notice, using the same payment method. A refund may be withheld until the goods are received back or proof of return is provided.

Who pays the return shipping costs?

In case of a defect or an exchange, we reimburse your return shipping costs once we have received the goods.

In case of withdrawal or a wrong purchase, you cover the return shipping costs as stated in the withdrawal policy.

How do I return an item if it is defective or not working? (Complaint / returns process)

To ensure quick handling of your complaint, please pack the item securely, include a copy of the invoice (or delivery note), and send the return as a prepaid letter to our P.O. box.
